Follow the path home

Central Oregon is home to a collection of towns and communities spread across the high desert and Cascade foothills, from Redmond and Sisters to the north and west, Bend at the center, and Sunriver, Crosswater, and Caldera Springs to the south. This isn't a single road trip so much as a region worth exploring on its own terms: each place has its own pace of life, character, and access to what draws people here, from golf and resort amenities to skiing, lakes, trails, mountains, and wide-open spaces. Use this as a loose visual guide to where you might belong, not a literal route, from the wide-open skies of Redmond to the ponderosa pines of LaPine.
